Richard has recently returned from an extended period with the Mutobai tribe of Madagascar. He has now started work on expanding his "tri-phasor noise development" meditative technique. Meanwhile there are also plans for a new incarnation of Underhill, which are currently in development. More news on this will be available soon...

It has recently been revealed that Richard will be returning from missionary work with the Mutobai tribe of Madagascar in September. On his return, Underhill will once again commence gigging. In the mean time, the band intend to record a demo over the summer...

Richard has left Underhill for an indefinite period to follow in Shaun's footsteps by working as a lay-missionary with the Mutobai tribe of Madagascar. There he hopes that their mystical "sonic-abrasion warrior dance" rhythms will help to influence his "tri-phasor noise development" meditative technique.

Entry is free before 9pm. €5 afterwards.

Also playing are 20 Bulls Each, ZEL and Hubris.

The April 23rd gig in the Voodoo lounge has been cancelled.

This is because the "Explicit Content" organisers have decided to move venues from the Voodoo Lounge to the Issac Butt.

On March 24, Underhill will be playing a

Gigsmart fundraiser gig at the Temple Bar Music Centre.

Cover charge is 6 euro and doors open at 7:30pm.

my nose of a night out with friends recently!

15 Jan 2003:

Man we're getting ahead of ourselves. Okay. Underhill are now playing this Saturday January 18th supporting the fabulous 'Fingermouse' at the Isaac Butt, doors open 8:30'ish. Admission is only 5 euro! Judging by previous gigs with 'the mouse' this should be one rocking gig.
But dont forget we're still playing 'Explicit Content' @ Voodoo Lounge on the 22nd!

I should probably take this opportunity to inform our tens of fans(!) that we are for the forseeable future a three piece: Gary has taken a few months off from all things musical. So I (Richard) will be assuming vocal duties...ahem.
